On Saturday, Elon tweeted on X (Formerly Twitter) would file a “thermonuclear” lawsuit against Media Matters and others “who colluded in this fraudulent attack on our company.” Since the Media Matters report publication, X (former Twitter) has faced growing outrage.
Because of this report IBM, Comcast, and other advertisers leave X platform. In October 2022, Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. The influence of Elon Musk on this platform, advertisers have fled the platform.
Reports say controversial posts of Musk’s on X and heavy layoffs of moderate employees is the reason behind this loss. On Sunday, X (Formerly Twitter) Chief Executive, Linda Yaccarino gave employees a note. The note says because of that report publication, some advertisers had discontinued their investments.
On Monday, Media Matters President Angelo Carusone said in an interview with Reuters,
