Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI and the creator of ChatGPT said that if Indians try to launch an Open AI, they will be a failure. Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance while speaking at the 46th Reliance Annual Greeting Meeting event on Monday has accepted this challenge. He announced that Jio will launch new AI as soon as possible for Indian users.
He said,
Jio promises AI to everyone, everywhere. And we shall deliver.
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, had a talk with Rajan Ananda, former Google Indian head, and addressed that trying to create an OpenAI, similar to ChatGPT is “hopeless.”
He also said
We will explicitly tell you that it’s completely hopeless to challenge us in training foundation models, and you should even attempt it. However, it is your responsibility to still make the attempt, and I genuinely hold both of these perspectives. I genuinely believe that the chances of the course’s success are quite slim.
I genuinely believe that the chances of success are quite slim,” he remarked.
