Brin is mainly known for his expertise in the subject of mathematics, and Page had a great interest in learning even more about the behavior of linking on the internet – which led him to create an algorithm called the “PageRank”.
They named the algorithm after Larry and then explored the world of search ranking results. They also ranked the results primarily based on atypical linking behavior. During the initial years of Google, the duo Page and Brin had no financial support for bringing their company to a well-known standing globally. The CEO of Sun Microsystems investment was what assisted the Alphabet Incorporations’s subsidiary – and enabled them to move out of dorms and into the first office.

The first office of Google was actually in a garage area in the area of Palo Alto, in Menlo Park (California). It was owned by Susan Wojcicki. She originally became employee number 16 of Google but is now the CEO of YouTube.
The original office had some outdated, old computers and a ping pong table which was meant for entertainment.
Not to mention the drastic difference now, when it comes to their headquarters and office. It is a multi-billion dollar company and has the capacity to fund lavish offices for its employees.
